and we're gonna get married! Yes, Yummy and I finally have set a date and decided to throw caution to the wind and get married this summer! We picked July 4th as the big day in New Orleans. I'm so excited and have started planning the entire day. I've already ordered my dress last weekend and this week we went and picked out wedding bands for each other and those are on order, reserved the chapel and date and now we're searching for the site of the reception. We thought we had it planned but our fave restaurant in NOLA is closed on the 4th. What a bummer! But there are still many places to choose from and we'll just go there on Friday night with whoever is in town.
I'm so excited! Did I mention that?

Congratulations! Have fun with the planning.
Woohoo!! Congrats! Better than waiting the extra year, I believe. Looking forward to the details!
Congrats! Does that mean the Catholic Church approved your divorce or however that works?
Atta girl!!
woot woot.
Congratulations!!!
That's awesome!!! Congrats!!! I hope you can stay in the a/c. NOLA sure is crazy hot/humid that time of year. Wouldn't want any sweat stains :) I bet it will be a beautiful day.
CONGRATULATIONS!! But couldn't you have made it a northern location? New Orleans in July? I'll melt!
That's great! Congratulations!!!
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that is so grand!!!!!!!! CONGRATS!!!!! Holy shit!!!!! wow!!!!!!
ASM & Hubman: Thanks!
Os: I don't think I could have waited another 18 months. :) There'll be lots of adult libations - don't ya wanna make a trip to the deep south?
Lilith: Nope - decided that I'll file it later when I find that last witness that is required. The more I thought about putting my life on hold bcs an institution told me I had to was so not me!
Sage: Thanks for the well wishes. ;)
Tug: I know, I know... 105 degree temps last year in July when I was there but that's why the wedding time is 7 p.m. hopefully a little cooler by then.
Dana: Funny story about my northern location - my future MIL got expelled from the gated community for a year after she decided she didn't like a tree in front of her cottage and tried to drown it with a quart of gasoline. So, hence, NOLA.
Maggie: Yes, it is grand. :)
Oh, congratulations!! How exciting, can't wait to hear all about it!
CONGRATS!!!!!
